This chainmaille tutorial will tackle one of the basic weaves in a chainmailler's arsenal: the European 4 in 1 weave. This weave was traditionally used for making armour in Europe back in the day, and the basic concept can be readily adapted to make European 6 in 1, 8 in 1 and Kingsmail, amongst others.
